First choose your two diet/fast days, preferably non-consecutive days. So for example you might choose Monday

of shakes and low calorie food is recommended. Just make sure you count your daily calories so you don’t
exceed 500 calories/2100kJ (for women) or 600 calories/2500kJ (for men).

For the remaining 5 days of the week you just revert back to eating your normal meals and snacks without any
calorie restriction. Naturally, and importantly, it makes sense to do this without overindulging or overeating.
Most people adhering to the principle of the 5:2 Diet do not feel the need to gorge on the 5 non-fasting days.
This is because on the fasting days the stomach can often shrink. So consume the recommended 2,000 calories
per day on the 5 non-fasting days and you can be assured of more success on the 5:2 diet.
Mixing Directions
Add
35g or 2 heaped tablespoons of 5:2 Diet Shake to 200ml of coldwater. Shake well before drinking, and enjoy
as a perfect low 100 calorie snack. You can also replace the water with 200ml of unsweetened almond milk, or
the milk of your choice (just add the additional calories of the milk your choose to your daily tally eg add 32
